There is an amazing variety of skateboard tools available, we narrowed it down to a couple that we find especially helpful. |
First off, the classic T-TOOL, obviously named after its shape.
This tool has basically everything you need to set up your board.
Three different sizes of nuts for the axle, kingpin and mounting hardware.
Additionally there’s a combined phillips and allen key in the tool. |
Picking up where the regular T-Tool left off is this guy right here:
Because of the joint in the lower part you can easily access the mounting hardware that is usually hidden under the hanger of the truck.
Other than that this is the same dal as the T-Tool, just in a smaller more compact manner. |
This tool again took the principle of the T-Tool and added a very smart twist.
A re-threader for your busted axles!
Also the added a ½” allen key for Krux and Grindking trucks.
The only downside of this tool is its price and its size. Other than that it is pretty much perfect. |
The Y Tool is the same as the T Tool just with improved, longer shafts this way you can access all nuts a lot easier.
|
The best thing about this Tool is its compact construction.
The phillips and allen key kann be inserted through the tool to be used for leverage.
The nuts are interchangeable and this doesn’t really make this bugger any more user friendly.
|
This version of the is even more compact than its buddy above.
This unfortunately does’t make this tool any better.
On the contrary both of these tools are responsible for more bloody and broken fingers than any handrail ever.
Sorry.
|
This Baby on the other hand is a sure fire improvement!
Super compact construction, that doesn’t get in the way of its usability.
All components fit together neatly, almost “Transformers”- like.
Also this tool has exchangeable bits. One side is alle the other phillips.
This is a really smart tool.
