PLAN B PLAN B Skateboards was founded by Mike Ternasky in 1991. The team was regarded as one of the most influential of the 1990s, due to their innovations both skatewise and in their utilization of skateboarding videos. Ternasky was tragically killed in a car accident in 1994, which had a devastating effect on the majority of the team. The brand's rights were then handed over to Danny Way and Colin McKay but because of the tragic association with the "PLAN B" name, the company basically ceased to exist. In 2005, PLAN B was resurrected by Way and McKay,using the same formula as the original PLAN B, handpicking a superteam of riders from other teams. Among these are: Paul Rodriguez, Ryan Gallant, PJ Ladd, Brian Wenning, Pat Duffy, Ryan Sheckler, Jereme Rogers, Colin McKay and Danny Way.
